Brittany Welsh

Brittany Welsh is a student at Trent University, currently pursuing a PhD in environmental and life sciences. Her academic journey is deeply rooted in environmental science, with a particular focus on microplastics in freshwater ecosystems. With a passion for nature and preserving the environment, Brittany actively engages in both her academic pursuits and extracurricular activities, contributing to the vibrant Trent community. Outside of her studies, Brittany enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s running, rowing, or exploring nature with her dog. Known for her leadership and determination, Brittany aims to make a meaningful impact through her research and future career, contributing to positive environmental change. She is excited to continue her journey at Trent University, and looks forward to contributing both in her field and beyond.
