Darcy Rhyno

Darcy Rhyno is a freelance writer living in rural Nova Scotia. While he specializes in experiential travel writing, he’s also the author of plays, two collections of short fiction and a novel for teens. Concern for the natural world led him to volunteer with various environmental organizations, including one he co-founded to create the first blue box recycling program in Nova Scotia. He is a contributing editor at Saltscapes Magazine and his work has been published in the Halifax Chronicle Herald, Canadian Geographic Travel and BBC Travel, among others.
