I am a professor in the Biology Department at SUNY New Paltz and a faculty advisor in the Environmental Geochemical Science program. I also have appointments as a Research Associate at the Mohonk Preserve and Visiting Scientist at Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies. I am interested in aquatic ecosystem ecology; invasive species; technology and aquatic ecosystems; biogeochemistry; lake metabolism; human impacts on streams, rivers, and lakes.
