Ian Willms is a Toronto-based photojournalist represented by Panos Pictures. His long-term photo essays often address the intimacies of power struggles, inequities and profound compromise. Ian has contributed to numerous publications, including National Geographic, the New York Times, TIME, GEO, New York Magazine and the Guardian Weekly. His work has garnered support and accolades from the Eugene Smith Fund, World Press Photo, Sony World Photography Awards, Pictures of the Year International, the Canada Council for the Arts and the Lange-Taylor Prize, among others.
