John Woodside covers federal policy for Vancouver and B.C. thanks to a grant from the Local Journalism Initiative and the Government of Canada. Previously he covered energy with allNewBrunswick and allNewfoundlandLabrador, with a particular focus on Muskrat Falls, nuclear power, and the Irving group of companies. Prior to that he worked with Cited Media and with foreign policy news outfit OpenCanada. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Master of Journalism program.
