Josie Kao is a journalist currently based in Toronto but with loyalties to Vancouver. She has previously worked at The Narwhal as an assistant editor, The Globe and Mail as a content editor and at The Varsity as News Editor and then Editor-in-Chief. She is passionate about covering the hyperlocal effects of international news, particularly on marginalized communities.
