Manuel Baechlin is The Narwhal’s new video producer, where he is working with the editorial and audience teams to translate complex stories into compelling video content. Manuel previously ran his own production company, Mabek Productions, where he created videos for CBS Mornings, Deloitte, United Way, Rowing Canada and others. He is also an avid photographer, with work featured in outlets including the Toronto Star, CBC and The Hill Times. When he’s not animating a random graphic or nitpicking about a transition on Final Cut Pro, Manuel can be seen carefully weighing out 18g of coffee beans and making an espresso (with questionable latte art).
