Until May 2021 I was an Associate Professor and Industrial Research Chair in Biomining, Bioremediation, and Science Communication at Laurentian University. I am currently holding an interim executive position as lead of the Mining Innovation, Rehabilitation and Applied Research Corporation which is a research arm of Laurentian University. I still operate my research lab and continue to supervise my graduate students in spite of this change.
