Dustin Patar

Dustin Patar is a multimedia journalist based in Iqaluit, Nunavut, who focuses on the environment and the Arctic. His work has appeared in CBC Indigenous, Motherboard, Hakai Magazine, Nunatsiaq News, and Arctic Today. Dustin has an undergraduate degree in communications from Simon Fraser University and a master's of journalism from the University of British Columbia. When he’s not in front of a computer, he can be found behind a sewing machine, fixing his snowmobile or out on the land.
