Kayla MacInnis is an âpihtawikosisân iskwew who, in her work, mixes the visual and written worlds. Born in misâskwatômina (Saskatoon), she is a displaced Polish/Ukrainian & Scottish settler on her mother’s side and Métis from the Red River settlement on her father’s. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in English with a specialization in print culture at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, B.C.
