I am a Research Associate in the Faculty of Land and Food Systems at the University of British Columbia. My research focuses on how to manage landscapes for people and nature. This involves investigating how and where people gain benefits from nature (also known as ecosystem services) and how changes in land use, landscape structure, and biodiversity influence these benefits and the processes that underlie them. My goal is to provide knowledge that decision-makers, land managers, and other stakeholders can use to sustainably manage ecosystems and landscapes.
