Phil Abbott

Phil Abbott is currently a lecturer in the Chanie Wenjack School for Indigenous Studies at Trent University. He teaches courses on settler colonial history, the history of early settlement in Treaty 20 territory and the introductory Indigenous studies courses. Phil’s research interests include Treaty history, historical commemoration, historical consciousness, settler colonialism and resistance.
