Raina Delisle
Raina Delisle is an award-winning journalist with a special interest in the environment, health and culture. Raina worked as a senior editor at The Narwhal and before that as an associate editor at Hakai Magazine, writing and editing stories that explore science, society and the environment. She won several national awards with her Hakai colleagues, including honourable mention for best investigative story for her feature “The Ecolabel Fable” at the 2018 National Magazine Awards. Raina previously worked as a reporter and editor at The Ottawa Citizen, The Province and The Vancouver Sun. She has also contributed to several national publications, including The Globe and Mail, Chatelaine and Today’s Parent, and has two nonfiction children’s books forthcoming with Orca Book Publishers. In her spare time, Raina can be found exploring the beaches, parks and trails of Vancouver Island with her family.
