Savannah is an Onöndowa'ga:' journalist based in Tkaronto (Toronto). In 2024, Savannah became the first student to ever earn a spot in the CJF-CBC Indigenous Journalism Fellowship. In 2025 she joined The Narwhal as an Indigenous editorial fellow. Savannah's body of work in that role earned her recognition as a finalist for the 2026 JHR / CAJ Emerging Indigenous Journalist Award. After completing the fellowship, Savannah joined the Toronto Star for a year-long internship as a staff reporter.
