Allan Northcott

Allan Northcott is Vice President of Max Bell Foundation, where he has worked since 1998. Previously, he worked at the policy think tank Canada West Foundation and taught communications at the University of Illinois and the University of Calgary. Northcott has advised on strategy, program design and communications for a range of organizations including the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Imagine Canada and the Canadian Environmental Grantmakers’ Network, where he served as board chair from 2009-2012. He is currently a member of the advisory council of Imagine Canada and sits on the board of directors of Philanthropic Foundations Canada.
