Amara Possian is a campaigner, organizer and educator with over 15 years of experience helping movements and mission-driven organizations build power and win change. She led the Canada team at 350.org for nearly seven years, and is the founding board chair of Organizing Exchange. She now works as a consultant, coach and facilitator, supporting organizations on strategy, governance and leadership. She lives in Toronto with her partner and infant son.
