I'm a behavioural ecologist who uses aquatic animals, mostly vertebrates, as model organisms to study physiological and cognitive responses in changing environments. A major research theme has been the effects of anthropogenic pollutants and other stressors on information use by impacted animals - nicely summarized as "behavioural ecotoxicology".
