Lori Fox
Lori Fox is a writer and freelance journalist based in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Their work has appeared in Vice Canada, The Globe and Mail, CBC North, UpHere Magazine and The Guardian. Fox holds an Honours degree in English Literature from the University of Ottawa and a diploma in journalism from Loyalist College. Fox's fascination and dedication to science and environment reporting comes from their years working as a professional wild food and mushroom forager, during which time they lived extensively off grid and off the land in the back country of Yukon and Northern British Columbia. They are currently working on their first book, This Has Always Been a War, a collection of personal essays about capitalism, gender and class, soon to be published with Arsenal Pulp Press.
