Garth Lenz

For more than 20 years, Garth Lenz has produced images of nature and wilderness which blend editorial rigor with a fine art aesthetic. His work has received major international awards from the Prix de la Photographie Paris, the International Photography Awards, Wildlife Photographer of the Year and many others. His images have appeared in the world's leading publications including TIME, GEO, The New York Times, The Guardian, Esquire, Canadian Geographic and Sierra. His work has been exhibited worldwide and he has been invited to address major corporations, government bodies, and educational institutions including the European Parliament, Canadian Senate, The New York Times, Nippon Telephone and Telegraph, Oxford, Cambridge and Harvard Universities, London’s Natural History Museum and the Royal Geographical Society. His recent TED talk, The True Cost of Oil, has received more than 600,000 views. Recent exhibits have been featured in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Boston, Germany, Utah, New York, Washington D.C., the Banff Mountain Film Festival, the Annenberg Space for Photography, the International Wilderness Conference in Spain and many other locations.
