Lindsay Sample is a journalist, mother and fifth generation Scottish settler, living on Sinixt, Ktunaxa and syilx homelands, colonially known as Nelson, B.C. Lindsay joins The Narwhal after playing an integral role in building The Discourse — a digital media company transforming independent local news — and its’ network of sister outlets. Early in her career, Lindsay investigated consumer issues for three seasons with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s flagship consumer investigative program Marketplace. In her work and her life, Lindsay is passionate about relationship building, sustainability and equity.
