As the father of a teenage daughter, Ryan Stuart feels the tug of war between living a responsible and sustainable lifestyle and the demands of western culture on a daily basis. His search for the right path, for her future and his own conscience, feeds his work as a full-time freelance writer. Based on Vancouver Island, his writing focuses on the confluence of outdoor adventure, the environment, sustainability and business.
